Narcan Training, June 18th
Narcan (naloxone) is an opioid antagonist used for the complete or partial reversal of opioid overdose, including respiratory depression. It is a spray that is applied to someone who may have overdosed on drugs. It will immediately revive them and defuse their high. If It turns out they haven’t overdosed, it will not harm them.
Council has approved Trinity hosting a Narcan training session conducted by the Health Department. The session primarily intended for outreach volunteers to be equipped to revive an overdosed addict. However the session is also open to anyone in the congregation wishing to learn more about it.
June 18th at 2pm in Fellowship Hall
for the 30 minute session.
